The other difficulty is places and cities simply not being large enough to bother around occasionally, or matters that are plain odd. The objective of this entry is to promote idea about what could be done to fix this, and to gather those ideas. To begin with, let's start off with Burthorpe, a significant town in Asgarnia, nevertheless, left and left alone for many years. Burthorpe was the capital Asgarnia, before the King fell ill. Now, seeing as it had been the capital, you would expect a big glorious town with massive walls and tall towers and elite guards... well. . I've a surprise for you. It isn't at all grand, there aren't any walls aside from the castle, meaning that an assault in the trolls could be devastating, and the castle wall has been broken on the side where trolls would assault, though it does have scaffolding, but no workers seeking to fix it, or no guards to safeguard it?! That's really mad! Not just that, the town has never had a lick of paint, making it really look dull, boring and useless.
Now, a grand town, larger than Falador with massive walls and two enormous gates protecting the entrances, with little rooms to the guards to make tea in, sleep and eat off duty (Or on duty for all those lazy ones. .) Would certainly make it already better, the walls could be black rock. Many houses would be added to maintain all of the occupants secure, similar fashion to Falador, but in dark. Each one could be a reasonable size and could include things for living, a double bed, a bath, another bedroom for a young child, a downstairs having a kitchen and dining area and a bookcase, maybe more, but those are required.
There would be a library and small museum inside the walls of Burthorpe, for it is the capital, it requires learning facilities and then nearby there would be a school for the kids to visit. Another problem with Burthorpe is the fact that the only bank in Burthorpe (I am not including the Warriors Guild included in Burthorpe) which is from the Thieves den, not good for a Capital city, eh? There would be two banks, both North and South. Now, as for town attractions, what would there be?
Well, how about a minigame in the Barracks? Or a fantastic smithing purpose for making weapons and armour? A few great, specialist shops would be great also. Thank you for reading! Just needed to vent: I had a Slayer mission for Turoth, also got TWO clues. The very first one had about 8 stops, incluing 2 Wildy coord clues + the critically annoying emote clue in which you have to eliminate all outfitted items in a spot where witches and leeches continuously attack, then get assaulted by a double agent... where I got two rune c-bows, 41 Nature runes, along with 14 purple firelighters, whoop-te-doo.
The second... grrr. Both clues were also maps, not so bad. Third hint, coordinates in the Demonic Ruins + Zamorak mage assault, where obviously I got assaulted by a revenant and hardly escaped. Fourth hint, speak to the monk in the Duel Arena, that gave me a puzzle box. I really kind of like puzzle boxes, although they're time consuming... so anyway I finish the mystery box, and got yet another coord clue. Coords appear to need me to go into the middle of the stadium... what the hell??? Am I reading it wrong?
