Bremont ALT1-C watch review

I am lucky to be sent to Bremont ALT1-C/PW for a full hands-on review. This happened to be the first British-made mechanical luxury watch I reviewed. The dial of this "polished white" dial is stunning, elegant and elegant. Except for 6 o'clock, each hour is marked with larger visible numbers in a very "old English" style font. The dial is delicate and full, but it is not tidy and exudes an excellent "pleasing to the eye" aesthetic. The dial is also printed with the words "London" at the 6 o'clock position and the words "Red Arrow" at the 12 o'clock position. This is the iconic design of almost all Bao Bre timepieces.

The ALT1-C/PW case is durable, but the rounded edges and the highly polished and hardened Trip-Tick stainless steel surface can still maintain a professional appearance. The diameter of this case is slightly larger than the average (43 mm), making it ideal for medium to large wrists. The outstanding feature of the case is that it must be fixed on the back with screws and has a sapphire crystal glass window to display the COSC-certified high-precision British mechanical movement.

No similar pointer can be found on any other luxury timepiece. The design of the hour and minute hands is inspired by aircraft propellers. They look very unique and provide a luxurious finish to the dial. The second hand is very thin, very long, and moves with a gentle sweep. The pointer is made of treated stolen goods to ensure its durability and can be stabilized with the rest of the high-quality components used in the production of the ALT1-C series.

In addition to providing the best power for the watch, you have nothing to ask for, this is what you get! Inside the case, you can find a 13¼-inch BE-50AE automatic movement with 28 jewels. This permanent automatic movement is balanced by glucydur and is equipped with an asynchronous balance spring, the nivaflex 1 mainspring, which enables it to jump precisely at a speed of 28,800bph.
When winding, this movement can continuously beat for 42 hours without any movement. The rotor that can be seen from the rear window is decorated and Bremont shaped, showing a charming hypnotic effect in actual operation.
The comfort of ALT1-C/PW is good, but I will not jump out of the seat to say it is excellent, especially when compared to other luxury watches with smaller cases, thinner profiles and smaller crowns. Compared with the accompanying leather strap, the watch head itself is also very heavy, sometimes making it eccentrically placed on the wrist. Although this is how it looks on my wrist, it may be completely different on your wrist, so I strongly recommend that you try this watch on before buying.
The window on the back of the watch is not round, but neither does the outline on the wrist. After wearing it for a few days, I did get used to it and felt completely normal. You can expect a running-in period of about 1 week to loosen the belt and make the larger case feel comfortable on the wrist. That is, if you are used to wearing smaller watches!
