It's been twelve years since there was an NHL game on PC... Luckily it's still one of the better ones also holds up pretty well, but if you play some of the more recent ones moving back to it can be kind of painful with the QoL changes and such of the last decade. I've always adored Rocket League but they have started going down hill with the movement to epic I think. The rocket passes have been 95% garbage, the new store/credit process is awful, sport is going f2p on epic (smurfs galore) and wants to join an epic accounts to utilize cross plat development. Oh I totally agree, as someone who got to Diamond 3, but stopped playing nearly entirely as my connection during games has gotten much worse through the years. It is ridiculous. Not to be (too) pedantic, but I'd argue most folks in the general sense do in fact like sports matches. It's why this market is still selling so well. There are huge numbers of individuals who buy a console just for the sports games and that is all they purchase. It is the 1 EA Sports EA game that I like and EA has been blowing requests / banning users from their own forums / garbage talking PC players in their forums for 10 years that request a PC port of this game. Fifa 21 on PC is going to be based on current gen and won't be on par with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions. Past commenters have already stated plenty of great sports games on PC. However, the one missing game that actually sticks out to me is the NHL franchise. I want that game on PC, it is the sole reason why I miss games. It's the same deal as Madden, NBA, etc it's $60 for updates rosters annually and EA boosting this exciting new feature which was present in the game a couple of years back then eliminated. Regardless, it's the sole baseball game that I know of. I uninstalled after 10 hours. It's certifiable trash. The game is built on a broken foundation which desperately has to be fixed if they will get anywhere with this game. They also added a mode no one requested for (The Yard) and totally ignored any improvements to Franchise mode (which is the most requested update request year following year). It is an absolute joke. I am just thankful that EA I'd like to spend $20 to get EA Play Pro so that I can remind myself why I buy Madden 21 coins every year .
